Non-medical service
East Bay Golden Hour Companions is a non-medical companionship, excursion, and transportation-coordination service for active older adults. We do not provide nursing, medication management, personal care (bathing, toileting, transfers), or skilled care of any kind. If your loved one requires those services, we'll happily refer you to trusted local providers.
Participation involves risk
Walking, riding in vehicles, and being in public spaces involves some inherent risk. All participants sign a Participant Agreement & Waiver before their first outing. Guardians may sign on behalf of a participant when appropriate.
Health disclosure
Participants are asked to disclose mobility aids, allergies, dietary restrictions, and any health conditions that could affect a day out. This helps us pace, plan, and choose appropriate venues.
Group size
We cap every gathering at 35 guests; most excursions and walks are far smaller (typically 4–14). This is what allows the calm pace and attentive feel we promise.
Privacy
Information submitted through our forms is used only to contact you, place you on the waiting list, and plan outings appropriate to your needs. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Photos from outings are only published with explicit consent.
